“ We ordered 3 appetizers. garlic bread, stuffed mushrooms, and tomatoes caprese. All three were delicious however smaller portions. I got the Penne Salsiccie. Great size portions and the flavor (Forgetaboutit!) was beautiful. I definitely will be back. ”

“ Me and some friend went to this restaurant as our monthly night out trying restaurants we’ve never been. I had my eye on this one for a while and I’m so glad it didn’t disappoint! The food was delicious!!! I got the bolognese since I thought it looked interesting, it has brisket, sausage and beef tenderloin .. and it was amazing, hitting all the notes I needed! . Not so easy to find a good and true talian place around, so I was very excited. The portions are big, which helps with the pricing, is not cheap but also not over the board. The dessert we got was the Cassata cake with strawberries which wasn’t so great, however, the Tiramisu.... OMG so good! Creamy, with strong espresso flavor and the kahlua brings everything together. We pair our food with the Prisoner Cabernet and it was perfect! Definitely coming back! ”

“ Yes! Yes! Yes! This native Houstonian (from a Sicilian family) finally feels this city has a proper Italian restaurant. Make a resy, like yesterday! The sauce is the right color, the right texture, the right balance between robust, sweet and acidic. I had the Sea Bass and the Seafood Lasagne. Finished the meal off with Tiramisu and a Cappuccino (not picture but omg that foam was perfetto!) I will absolutely return, as will my two friends that I dined with tonight. “ Amazing! Absolutely one of the top dining experiences in town. I ordered the special, braised beef tenderloin, I believe (pictured above) it literally fell apart and melted in my mouth! My date had lasagna and insisted I have a bite it was so good. It was! I also had gumbo, THAT WAS NOT "RESTAURANT" GUMBO! He clearly took the time (most restaurants won't (or can't afford) to give it the love it needs, all of the seafood ingredients were absolutely on point! Enjoyed it thoroughly! We also had salad, wine and dessert. Our bill was WAY less than expected! We enjoyed everything and had a fabulous experience. Thank you! ”

“ I’ve had three meals here. The food is phenomenal and the chef is about as authentic cool Italian local chef dude as I can imagine. He’s awesome. There was one small issue with my second meal and they went so far above and beyond to fix it that I will not forget it. I recommend you try all their dishes and specials - the lamb, the steak, the bolognese—whatever they got. From now on, I’m just ordering the “chef plate” which is the best because you get three dishes in one, you don’t have to decide anything, and it’s always delicious and lovely. I’ll be back. Perfectly cooked with a beautiful sear, the fish was tender, flavorful, and incredibly fresh. You could really tell it was just caught. The seasoning and presentation were on point, and every bite was a treat. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
